“Barking for BTRC” Dog Show 2022: And the winner is…

On 10^th September we held our “Barking for BTRC” Dog Show on Parsons Green, which was a huge success, exceeding our expectations by far and raising £12,500.

Our thanks go to all our sponsorship partners for their wonderful support – and of course the 400+ entrants to the competitions!

Online Photo Competition

We are pleased to announce that the winner of our online photo competition is George, with Zeus a very close second and Reggie a valiant third.

It was a very difficult decision for the judges and all the contestants won our hearts!  The winner will receive a voucher for a personalised “Initially London” monogrammed bandana and pouch – and all the runners up will receive some doggy goodies – and a winner’s rosette of course!

This brings our “Barking for BTRC” Dog show to a close – for 2022…

But we shall be back in 2023 so watch this space for the new date next year!  This year’s competition far exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled to raise over £12,500, which is a wonderful addition to our research into the causes and better treatments for brain tumours.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who supported us – to all our sponsorship partners, especially to Winkworth who were the main event sponsors, and to our commentator on the day, Stephen Mills, who entertained us all throughout the day.

But most of all, our thanks go to all the dogs and their owners who came along on the day – as well as those who entered this online photo competition. We couldn’t have done it without you!
