Great news on some game-changing research!

Great news! Brain Tumour Research is congratulating its centres of Excellence on great performance in the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF). From the results of the REF these will be used as a guide for distribution of much needed research funding across the UK – with the value to stand around £2billion in 2022-23.

A HUGE congratulations to Kevin O’Neill, Dr Nel Syed and their team! Imperial College London was ranked top amongst universities in the UK. Also, the Imperial College Department of Brain Sciences, where the Centre is based, also scored top when compared to other units researching Psychology, Psychiatry and Neurosciences.

We are so proud of this game-changing research done by all the centres and to have our BTRC team get the recognition they deserve nationally!
