Gordon Porteous’ cycling challenge
Gordon Porteous lost a friend Danny to a brain tumour in 2020. Gordon supports the Brain Tumour Research campaign to help raise awareness while supporting desperately needed ‘bench-to-bedside’ research projects.
Gordon will be taking part in the Tour des Stations Ultrafondo road cycling event in his memory in Valais, Switzerland.
It is 242km with an elevation gain of 8848m (the height of Mount Everest). He is hoping to achieve it under 16 hours but the time does not really matter … it’s going to be a challenge so support both Gordon and the cause here!
