Dom Magee fundraising update

On July 2018 Dom aged 44, died from a cancer called Mucosal Melanoma, which is a rare form of malignant melanoma (skin cancer) that affects the lining of various parts of the body (such as nasal passages, mouth, bowel etc)

Dom was a beloved husband and devoted father of two children who died very young. Mucosal Melanoma is a rare and very aggressive cancer which easily spreads to other parts of the body, including the brain and then this causes metastatic (secondary) cancers.

Currently funding for research into Mucosal Melanoma is very limited and more research is desperately required.

Any funding that is received over and above the £270k, will go towards extending the three-year Musocal Melanoma and brain tumour research project further.
