Chris Jones Sets Off on Epic 250km Challenge for BTRC

On Thursday 30 July, Chris Jones began an incredible four-day running challenge in support of the Brain Tumour Research Campaign (BTRC), helping to raise vital funds and awareness for those affected by brain tumours.

Chris will cover an approximate distance of 250 kilometres (150 miles) over four days, carrying his Spare Hoops, along with the essentials needed for the journey.

Speaking about the challenge, Chris said:

“I’m setting off on Thursday 30 July and will be running for four days carrying my Spare Hoops (and my phone and charger, obviously, so I can buy water and food!). The approximate distance is 250km or 150 miles, give or take depending on detours and wrong turns.”

This remarkable undertaking demonstrates Chris’s determination and commitment to supporting BTRC’s work and the Samaritans.
