A glamorous evening at The Hurlingham Club under sunny skies was enjoyed by guests at our 12th Amber Ball on Friday 5th June and we’re delighted to announce that £40,000 was raised for our campaign towards brain tumour research at Imperial College, thanks to the generous donations of those who were there (and others who weren’t!).
Prizes were donated from around the globe including Fairmont Hotels in the Canadian Rockies and others in Hong Kong, France, and of course the UK. TV personality Tom Keane conducted the live auction and our favourite band Fake Tan entertained guests until the early hours of the morning.
For those who were there and had their photographs taken by Pellier Noir, you can view these online on http://www.pelliernoir.com/clients-galleries/black-tie-functions-109/btrc-amber-ball/and see below for more photos of the evening.
The Amber Ball has also taken us past another milestone: we have now raised more than £2 million since the beginning of our campaign in 2004! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us over the years!
